What Is Good Download Speed For Gaming

InstaCoffee: My DL speed is bottomless. Information technology must be from everyone downloading Cyberpunk right now. I go over 850MB/southward Speeds. on steam I download at 115MB/s merely on GOG I am sitting at 0.3MB/s while pre loading Cyberpunk. but just ii weeks agone I downloaded Witcher 3 and I was getting about twenty-30MB/southward so... I will lose my mind if I volition accept 0.3MB/s at 4PM on a 40GB day i patch...
Perhaps I volition just get information technology on steam so I can avoid the backlogged servers. I wont fifty-fifty get to play until the cease of th night!!

Are you sure you didn't mix MBits/s and MBytes/s? 115 MegaBytes/s sounds like a Gigabit connection to me, 850 MegaBytes/s must exist something close to 10 Gigabit/s which I wish I would have but never heard anyone having these speeds at home. :) Plus 850 Megabytes/due south will exist a claiming for your typical SSD, allow lone HDDs.

I become 1GB download speed - that and I take the Samsung Evo 970 PRO so my SSD can handle it I think lol.

UPDATE: Information technology would appear that for whatsoever reason - my wife was streaming on twitch and once she turned it off my speeds went from 0.3MB/s to 97MB/southward Download speed on GOG.

It is still foreign that it was so negatively effected since I tested my download speed on steam and I was getting over 100MB/s before she turned off her stream, then peradventure there is something weird with the GOG servers connecting to a network thats already under load? IDK - All I know is it is finally washed preloading and I promise that I dont have the same issue on wednesday when we need to install that 70GB patch haha
